Feeling overwhelmed with where to begin? Here are some suggestions for SADD chapters to consider:

  • Register your chapter. Click REGISTER YOUR CHAPTER! It’s important! Indiana SADD requests a new registration form from every chapter for each new school year.

  • Join Indiana SADD on social media. Indiana SADD is on facebook, twitter, Instagram and Snapchat! You can find direct links to each of these at the top and bottom of this page. On social media sites you can receive regular updates on what’s going on throughout Indiana. Use the hashtag #INSADD on your posts so that we (and others) can find them!

  • Attend at least one regional or statewide event. Strengthen your chapter by meeting and exchanging ideas with like-minded people! Options include Days of Learning events, Advisor Trainings, SADD Celebration or even the SADD National Conference.

  • Take advantage of free materials! Browse the website to see what is available to you right now. Check back often for new resources. Also, watch social media and read the newsletters for additional resource notifications!
  • Make a plan of action. Don’t forget that your most important function is to educate your peers to help them make good decisions. Sit down together and make a month by month plan.

  • Use the media. Let the community know what you are doing and what you stand for. It helps bring awareness to SADD, and you gain support from the community

  • Have fun. Reward your hard work by spending time together enjoying fun activities - a great opportunity to model for others how to have a good time without drugs and alcohol.

  • Check in with Indiana SADD. We really love to know what you are doing! Use the easy Activity Report Form. Not only can Indiana SADD recognize you in publications and on the website, but we can share your ideas with other chapters as they seek fresh ideas!
